Honda Insight Performance and Design

Honda is introducing its third generation two-motor hybrid system with the 2019 Insight. The 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine comes standard, with three different drive modes available. The Normal mode is for everyday driving of the Insight, while the Econ mode works to be as efficient as possible. The Sport mode delivers a more exciting drive, allowing you to experience the handling and acceleration the Insight has to offer.

The standard 16-inch alloy wheels are beautiful to look at from the outside, as is the exterior in general, with its low stance and flying-wing grille. The standard LED headlights are capable of lighting up any drive, day or night, while the sleek design has coupe-like roof.

2019 Honda Insight: Tech and Safety Features

Tech is made easy with the Honda Insight, something you’ll experience the moment you step inside. Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ are standard features on the EX and Touring trims. This smartphone integration allows you to play music from your phone, read text messages, and navigate to your destination using your favorite map app. An 8-inch high-res touchscreen is also standard on those trims, with a knob and hard keys available, giving you many ways to interact.

When it comes to safety features, you’ll be protected, with Honda Sensing® standard. These safety and driver-assistive technologies are designed to let you know of things you might not pick up on while driving. The Collision Mitigation Braking System helps to stop the car when it senses there may be a collision with a vehicle in front of you. Meanwhile, the Lane Keeping Assist System adjusts steering if it has detected that your Insight is drifting from the lane it’s in.

Insight Interior Amenities

There’s room for five inside this vehicle, with plenty of legroom and headroom for driver and passengers alike. There’s 15 cubic feet of trunk space to store important items like sports equipment, groceries, luggage, and more. The 60/40 split-folding rear seatbacks can be folded down, allowing you to store longer items that pass through the trunk and into the back seating area.

The push button start is a faster way to get on your way each day, while the 7-inch digital driver’s meter provides plenty of vehicle information right in front of you in a clearly-displayed format.
